Everybody is at risk of catching Coronavirus.

Good health and youth may not protect you from
needing medical help.

If you are over 70 or have an existing medical
condition, you are at a higher risk of catching Coronavirus.

It can take up to 14 days for symptoms to appear.

Symptoms of Coronavirus include coughing, wheezing,
fever, loss of smell and a flu-like feeling. If
you, or anyone in your house has these symptoms
you need to isolate for 2 weeks.

Coronavirus is transmitted by droplets in the air
from infected persons, touching a contaminated surfaces
or through aerosol. This can occur before an infected
person has symptoms.

Coronavirus can live on your hands and surfaces for
prolonged periods of time. Washing your hands with
soap and water regularly and wiping down surfaces
will help reduce transmission. Alternatively,
an alcohol-based hand sanitiser can be used.

Coronavirus is easily transmitted by touching your face.
Avoiding touching your face and regularly washing
your hands reduces the likelihood you will
get infected.

Limiting your contact with people outside your home
can help reduce the rate at which Coronavirus spreads.
This means only going shopping for essential items,
as infrequently as possible, and cancelling social events.

At present, there is no proven cure or vaccine,
so prevention is incredibly important.
