Association of the Year!

The members of the GDDA-UK held a dinner dance on Saturday 13th October 2018 October in the Hilton, Liver pool to fundraise for the chosen VVF charity.

The night was a double celebration for GDDA -UK.

The fascinating highlight of the night was celebrating the organisation's success on winning an award. On 14th July 2018 in Docklands London at a glitzy ceremony, we won our first ever award, endorsed by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. The prize, a beautifully crafted monument was received by Dr Antony Annan, Dr Naa Barnor, Dr Kevin Dapaah and Mrs Philo Annan on behalf of the Association.

The award from GUBA was the '' Association of the Year 2018'' for our Charity work. It was indeed a great honour of which GDDA -UK is very proud. Our humble charity has been noticed.

The award was brought to the Dinner Dance for all members to see what as a group we had achieved. At the lovely cocktail gathering preceding the Dinner Dance, members of the association posed with the award. Some of the Executives, our Patrons Prof Emmanuel Akuffo and Dr Nellie Adjaye and The Organiser of the Conference 2018 Dr Sefa Ahiaku , Eminent Surgeons Dr James Adjogatse and Dr William Kedjani and Dr Fobi Adusua -Amankwah, Dentist Nana Acheampong and their wives all gave our award the Thumbs up.

This is only the beginning as we are aspire for more awards now.
